I was yesterday that we came to realize another year had passed. Having the same birthday is such an honor. I feel blessed that because of my birth my dad are just so much closer compared to most father and daughters. To know that we can share everything and anything with one another. To console, to comfort, argue, laugh, cry, debate, talk seriously together is truly a passionate thing. Family runs deeper than blood in my opinion. The more time spent the stronger the bond grows. The more memories of laughter and joy together the more memories grow to look back upon. The more arguments and debates said, the better understanding of each other.  I would never trade these moments for anything, absolutely nothing. I would die for them, I would still think of them, and i will definitely smile upon as I come to recall such memories. Memories have no value but a place in our hearts.

The best birthday ever. I woke up excited about our day (my dad's and I). First thing off my list is my birthday gift to myself. A haircut. i mean its been 4months since my last one and I did see a few split ends, so why not? hard work deserves some relaxation. Tried out this new salon that's 5 minutes away from home. It turned out so well. I know where to go now when my hair needs to be done~ Followed by a haircut was dim sum for lunch with family. Food was average but the memory that happened was mesmerizing and quite funny. Followed by grocery shopping! Then headed home to cut our cake. Fruit cake was decent. Fruits were sour but cake was sweet so it balanced out ^-^ Then off to work daddy & I went for the night!

Work wasn't as busy and I prepared staff dinner. Fettuccine Alfredo! sauce made from scratch. Used dry packaged pasta, sadly not fresh. But it turned out really good! I thought I messed it up. At first it was a bit salty but I used a secret ingredient to make it less salty! My co-workers enjoyed it and even had seconds and thirds! Then my boss came out with a cake and everyone sang "happy birthday". It was nice. After a hard working day I get to relax. Then poured a glass of red wine with lots of ice for the boss and I. it was nice. Haven't drank any alcohol in a while. really relaxing. The boss got me a strawberry shortcake that I requested a week before my birthday. Since he gets every co-worker a cake for their birthday i figured it'd be easier to tell him which cake rather than have him guess and such. It does sound selfish but I see somewhat considerate in a few ways. And I did ask politely, hehe ^-^ Doesn't matter, people can judge cruelly but nothings ever perfect so there's no point in ever trying to impress people so much.
